The National Monuments Service's description
Unlocated togher within towland described in Duald Mac Firbis pedigree of the O'Dempsey family where he records that it was 'Cu-Brogha, who defended the Togher or Leath Liaghean ie. the Togher of Lea. He was killed in 1162 (O'Flanagan 1933, vol. 2. P. 57).
