The National Monuments Service's description
No surface remains of any medieval church (LA003-016002-) , 19th century church of Ireland church located atop high ground in the village of Rosenallis near the site of the old medieval church which was reputedly located in the associated graveyard of the Protestant church. The ruined church and possible round tower (LA003-016001-) were pulled down c. 1834 and this church was dedicated to St. Brigid. In 1302 Oregan or Rosenallis was handed over to the Knights Hospitallers of St. John of Jerusalem a nursing order of men in Kilmainham , Dublin. Rectangular shaped graveyard (int. dims. 35m N-S; 67m E-W) enclosed by a stone wall as indicated on current ed OS 6-inch map. C of I church site in E quadrant of graveyard.
