The National Monuments Service's description

In August 1956 human remains were discovered during quarrying operations at a sandpit near Piltown. The burials did not appear to have been contained within a cist and no associated artefacts were found. The exact location is unknown and the remains were not investigated by the National Museum. (Cahill and Sikora 2011, vol. 2, 485)
