The National Monuments Service's description
On a level shoulder on the E slope of the Lingaun river valley. The monument is very ruined and comprises a roofstone (L 3.75m; Wth 3m; T 0.9m), resting above a displaced orthostat, probably a sidestone. Modern field debris has been dumped around it. Fogarty records that it 'stood on 4 pillars about 3 foot [c. 0.9m]above ground' (c. 1850, 1). (Borlase 1897, vol. 2, 409, Iverk no. 7; Carrigan 1905, vol. 4, 247; Mason 1814, 364; Fogarty c. 1850, 1; Powell 1941, 22, no. 28; Ó Nualláin 1983, 97, no. 6)
