The National Monuments Service's description

Situated beside a small stream. A circular feature (diam. c. 25m) visible on an aerial photograph (GSIAP). On inspection in 1989 there were no visible remains at ground level. Testing in 2006 in advance of a housing development (Licence no. 06E1027) revealed a curving band of burnt material consistent with that of a burnt mound. (Devine 2006; Devine 2009, 282, no. 1087)
