The National Monuments Service's description
Situated c. 300m S of Annfield House and likely to be a designed landscape feature associated with it. A small circular feature (diam. c. 20m) marked on both the 1837 and 1903 editions of the OS 6-inch map. A possible decoy pond (KK034-052----) lies c. 200m to the E.
