The National Monuments Service's description
On a level shoulder of a NE facing slope. In 1983 the monument consisted of two portal stones (max. H 2.1m and 1.6m) which leaned markedly to the SE and indicated a chamber opening uphill to the SW. A roofstone (dims. 2.55m x 2.25m; T 0.45m) stood on edge against the E portal. This side of the monument was incorporated in a low fence. This has since been reclaimed and the stones moved out of position. (Ó Nualláin 1983, 97, no. 1)
