The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture. Indicated on 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map as an unenclosed D-shaped area, with an 'Ancient Thorn' indicated within it and named, 'Site of Grave Yard'. On the 1900-01 revision the area (dims. c. 40m NE-SW; c. 12m NW-SE) is indicated but not named.
