The National Monuments Service's description
In reclaimed pasture. Indicated on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map as an irregularly shaped, roughly six-sided enclosure (dims. c. 38m NE-SW; c. 35m NW-SE). The monument is not indicated on the 1900-01 revision which suggests it may have been levelled by this date. A farm roadway runs roughly E-W along the S side of the enclosure and appears to kink out to respect the monument. The monument is not visible at ground level.
