The National Monuments Service's description
In level pasture, with trees, bushes and briars growing around the perimeter and scrub in the interior. The N sector is transected by a deer park wall running ENE-WSW and the bank and fosse are not visible at ground level N of this wall. There is another enclosure (KK027-089----) c. 40m to the NW.
A roughly circular enclosure (overall diam. c. 70m) defined by an earthen bank (int. H 0.15m; ext. H 2m; Wth 3m) and outer fosse (Wth 3m; D 1.5m), the latter being waterlogged in the E quadrant (OPW Correspondence files, May 1957). The bank is visible from SE-S-SW, from NE-E-SE it is reduced to scarp and in the W it has been replaced by a straight narrow field ditch (ibid.). The fosse continues from the deer park wall in the NE to the SW sector(ibid.). There is a gap (2.4m) in the bank in the SE (ibid.).
