The National Monuments Service's description
Indicated as a roughly circular enclosure on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map, within a small tree plantation. On the 1948 revision the monument is enclosed by a field boundary which appears to be truncating the perimeter. A townland boundary runs NNW-SSW immediately outside the SE sector. On satellite imagery (Digitalglobe) the monument is obscured by mature trees growing around the perimeter.
