The National Monuments Service's description
Associated with the medieval church of Newtown Earley (KK027-012001-). A large number of graveslabs were uncovered during a clean-up of graveyard (KK027-012009-) in 1985-7 (Harte 1987, 408-17). These are currently lying within the interior of the church.
The lower portion of a graveslab (surviving L 0.47m; Wth 0.3m below mid-point; Wth 0.25m at base) with a chamfered edge and decorated with a very faint incised cross-shaft. It is illustrated by Harte (1987, 410), with dimensions, but does not have a catalogue number or description. Stylistically this graveslab dates to the 13th/14th century.
