The National Monuments Service's description
In tillage. A roughly oval enclosure (int. dims. c. 50m N-S; c. 34m E-W; overall dims. c. 60m N-S; c. 45m E-W) indicated on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map and the 1948 revision. The monument was subsequently levelled and is visible as the cropmark of a fosse on an aerial photograph (CUCAP BGG098, 16 July 1971). There is an irregular outer fosse, also visible as a cropmark, c. 10-15m to the NW-N-NE of the enclosure and a possible roughly square enclosure (KK027-088----) adjoining to the SE.
