The National Monuments Service's description
Attached to the N wall at the W end of the N aisle of the nave of St Mary’s parish church (KK026-010012-). A limestone side panel of a chest tomb (L 1.81; H 0.61; T 0.15m) the upper dexter corner and the upper sinister corner are missing, and two remaining pieces of the latter appear to have been broken off and re-attached. The panel displays symbols of the Passion in raised relief within four sections divided by fluted columns, though the sinister column is missing. There is a plain margin along the base of the slab. The dexter section depicts a scourging pillar with entwined ropes, a scourge, a pot which probably had a cock on top but it is now missing, a seamless robe and a possible towel. The next section depicts a central ladder with a spear on the sinister side and a cup on a pole on the dexter side. The next section has a cross, ringed with a crown of thorns, with a pincers and three dice to the sinister side of the cross-shaft and a hammer on the dexter side. The sinister section displays the five wounds of the crucified Christ, though only the feet survive.
