In the field immediately NW of the medieval church of Ullard (KK025-038001-) on an E-facing slope, in pasture. The church is c. 50m to the S, a holy well 21m to the NNW and another bullaun stone (KK025-038008-) lies 12m to the W. The church and holy well are dedicated to St Fiachra, who according to tradition founded a church here in the latter part of the 6th-century (Vigors 1893, 257). The bullaun stone (L 1.45m; max Wth 0.07m narrowing to 0.52m) lies embedded in the ground and has two basins, one oval (dims. 0.28m x 0.22m) and the other sub-circular (dims. 0.16m x 0.18m), both approx. 0.1m deep. When visited in 1994 there was a hawthorn tree beside the bullaun but this is no longer there.
