The National Monuments Service's description
In a woodland plantation. Indicated as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m) on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map in a small woodland plantation, with a sand/gravel quarry c. 10m to the NE and another one immediately to the SE. On the 1899-1903 revision of this map the woodland plantation is indicated but not the monument.
