The National Monuments Service's description
Indicated as a roughly rectangular enclosure on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map and subsequent 1899-1902 revision. The enclosure (dims. c. 37m NW-SE; c. 18m NE-SW at NW and c. 30m at SE), orientated NW-SE, widens towards the SE. A laneway is depicted on both these OS maps running NW-SE c. 5m W of the enclosure. It is visible on satellite imagery (viewed 14 September 2021) as being overgrown with scrub, surrounded by rough pasture.
