The National Monuments Service's description

In a low-lying basin within a gently undulating wide landscape. Excavated in 2007 in advance of the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford road improvement scheme (Licence no. E3460). Seven pits filled with charcoal and heat-shattered stones. One of the pits contained stake-holes and resembled a trough. A pond 40m to the SW was the nearest water source. A post-medieval boundary cut through several of the pits. (Jennings 2008; 2010, 241-2, no. 907)
