The National Monuments Service's description
On the edge of a ridge, overlooking a river valley which runs N-S immediately to the E, in tillage. A roughly circular enclosure (overall diam. c. 57m) indicated on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map and on the 1947 revision. Since 1947 the monument has been levelled. The fosse is visible as a cropmark on an aerial photograph (ASIAP (108) 33, 22 July 2000). An inner enclosure (diam. c. 30m) is visible on satellite imagery (Google Earth, imagery date 24 March 2017). A field boundary runs roughly E-W immediately N of the N sector. The M9 motorway runs NE-SW c. 90m E of the enclosure. There is a large enclosure (KK023-076----) c. 240m to the N and another smaller enclosure (KK023-077----) c. 330m to the NE, both are on the N side of the river valley, and another enclosure (KK023-079----) c. 340m to the E which is on the E side of the river valley.
