The National Monuments Service's description

An oval enclosure (dims. c. 65m NW-SE; c. 57m NE-SW) which is indicated as being roughly circular on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map and as oval on the 1947 revision. By 1964 the monument had been levelled (CUCAP AJQ026, 9 July 1964) but the fosse was visible as a pronounced cropmark on aerial photographs (CUCAP AYK059, 9 July 1969; BGG019, 1971) and is also visible on satellite imagery (OS Ortho viewed 11 August 2021). The aerial photographs show a number of cropmark enclosures in the vicinity, KK023-046002- and KK023-046-006- c. 70m and c. 140m to the N respectively; KK023-046003- c. 53m to the NE; KK023-046005- c. 70m to the ENE and KK023-046004- c. 50m to the E.
