The National Monuments Service's description
On top of a rise. A circular enclosure (diam. c. 60m) indicated on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map, showing a small quarry in the interior in the NE quadrant. On the 1947 revision of this map a field boundary is indicated running NE-SW along the NW edge of the enclosure and another runs S from this, curving out along the W edge of the monument. Also on this later map a quarry is indicated in the S portion of the enclosure. A public road runs N-S c. 30m E of the monument. The monument had been levelled by 1989 when it was identified as a cropmark (GB89.P.25, 13 July 1989).
