The National Monuments Service's description

According to Carrigan (1905, vol. 3, 435), in Brittas, ‘The site of a most ancient “churchyard” is pointed out here in Pat Doherty’s land, on the brink of the stream separating Brittas from Shortall’s Graigue’. The precise location of this church within the townland is unknown.
