The National Monuments Service's description

Indicated on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map as a small circular enclosure (diam. c. 17m) located in a woodland plantation in Gowran demesne, with buildings located immediately to the S-SE and E. It is not indicated on the 1900 revision, however, satellite imagery indicates that while the surrounding woodland has been largely cleared, the area where the enclosure is located is still covered by trees and scrub, which suggests the monument survives above ground and has been deliberately avoided.
