The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture. A large circular enclosure (diam. c. 50m) defined by a fosse, identified as a cropmark on aerial photographs (CUCAP AYK085, 9 July 1969; BDO063, 16 July 1970). Another large enclosure (KK021-015----) also identified as a cropmark, lies c. 70m to the N. There appear to be a number of other cropmarks running eastward from this enclosure, suggesting an associated field system. There is also a wide linear band of staining running NE-SW through the N portion of the interior, possibly a wet area associated with the Acore River which flows c. 70m to the S.
