The National Monuments Service's description
In a river valley, between the Acore River to the S and W and a stream to the N. Identified by Prendergast (1955, 10) who provided 6-inch sheet co-ordinates for the fulacht fia (OS 6-inch sheet 21; 25.5cm from W and 23.25cm from N). Since the 1900 revision portion of the Acore River has been channelized at this point and may have cut through the fulacht fia.
