The National Monuments Service's description

Surrounded by grass. A roughly circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m N-S; c. 35m E-W) enclosed by a wide, waterlogged fosse (Wth 2-5m). The enclosure is overgrown with trees and scrub. Three field boundaries run up to the monument, one running N-S into the N sector, one running NE-SW into the NE sector and another running roughly E-W into the S sector.
