The National Monuments Service's description
In St Francis' Abbey (KK019-026101-). A limestone panel (L 0.38m; H 0.24m; D 0.14m) decorated with two pointed trefoil arches in low relief. It is dressed with vertical tooling using a claw chisel (Duffy 2025, no. 4). Duffy suggests it is a side panel from a sarcophagus, similar to examples in St Mary’s parish church and the Black Abbey (ibid.). Bradley (1980, 15, no. 57) describes a similar panel from St Francis’ Abbey (KK019-026550-) as being ‘probably part of a table tomb’.
