The National Monuments Service's description
In storage at the OPW depot, Kilkenny. Sandstone architectural fragments from Brian J. Hodkinson's archaeological excavations at the gatehouse of Nenagh Castle (TN020-037001-) (License number 96E0228). It includes rib fragments from the vaulting, including a very well-preserved central boss with rosette decoration. The fragments are listed and some drawn in Hodkinson's article on the excavations (1999, 162-82). These are 13th century in date.
