The National Monuments Service's description
In the OPW store, Kilkenny (Kilkenny depot stone carving number: KD028). A roughly rectangular piece of sandstone (L 0.21m; Wth 0.147m; T 0.038m) with carved decoration. The stone had been broken into two pieces and has been glued together. The decoration consists of a raised panel of interlace (Wth c. 0.07m) with a border (Wth 0.025m) on one side, which appears to have beading along the edge but this could also be a very worn roll-moulding. Possibly from a high cross.
