The National Monuments Service's description
At St Mary's parish church (KK019-026115-) in Kilkenny. An inscribed graveslab (L 0.86m), made from fossiliferous limestone, reused as part of the plinth or prayer step of a chest-tomb (KK019-026312-) in the central tomb niche of the N wall of the N transept of the church. Found during excavations (12E0314) at St Mary's by Cóilín Ó Drisceoil (2019). The Latin inscription in incised Lombardic script reads:
HIC IACET: ISABLLA: LÃG HÃ
which translates as, Here lies Isabella Lanigan(?).
