The National Monuments Service's description
At St Mary's parish church (KK019-026115-) in Kilkenny. A 13th/14th-century fragment of an effigy (L 0.19m; Wth 0.18m) made from fossiliferous limestone. A square fragment (dims. 0.19m x 0.18m) built into the exterior face of the S wall of the S transept of St Mary’s Church. Described by Bradley (1980, 11, no. 30) as, ‘a fragment ornamented with a series of irregularly incised lines, perhaps a remnant of an incised effigial monument’.
