The National Monuments Service's description
At the W end of Abbey Street c. 20m S of the Black Abbey (KK019-026021-) and c. 50m W of the town wall. An extended inhumation in an unprotected pit aligned E-W, discovered during bulldozing operations. The articulated skeleton was an adult male with the head to the W. Apart from the extended inhumation, a portion of a skull and long bone were also recovered and a few fragments of an adult female skeleton. (Cahill and Sikora 2011, vol. 2, 345–7)
