The National Monuments Service's description
A circular enclosure (diam. c. 44m) identified as the cropmark of a fosse on an aerial photograph (GSI S483, 1973-7) and also visible on satellite imagery (Google Earth Pro, 21 April 2019). It is not indicated on the 1st (1839-40) ed. OS 6-inch map or subsequent 1945-6 revision. The satellite image suggests there may be an entrance in the NW quadrant. A field boundary with a farm roadway along its W side, runs NNW-SSE through the NE-E sector of the enclosure.
See attached Google Earth image (imagery date 21 April 2019).
