The National Monuments Service's description
Indicated on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map and on the 1900 revision as a roughly circular enclosure (diam. c. 32m). The monument was inspected in November 1955 and was described being, 'a reasonably good ring-fort (single bank and ditch), very much overgrown with briars. Diameter about 100' [c. 30m]. The bank is fairly high & massive' (OPW correspondence files, November 1955). There is a ringfort (KK018-058----) c. 150m to the NE and another (KK018-056----) c. 270m to the WNW and an enclosure (KK018-055----) c. 385m to the SW.
