The National Monuments Service's description
In wet, marshy field, on the E side of slightly rising ground, on the floor of a broad N-S valley, in pasture. Very good views in all directions. A roughly circular area (diam. 38m N-S; 37m E-W) enclosed by a bank (Wth 1m at crest; overall Wth 3.5m; int. H at least 1m; ext. H at least 1.5m). The interior slopes fairly steeply to the E. There is a gap (Wth 2m) in the bank in the SE quadrant. The bank is quite heavily overgrown with thorn bushes.
