The National Monuments Service's description

On a slight terrace on the E slopes of small NW-SE stream valley. The graveyard (dims. c. 53m N-S; c. 63m E-W) is located immediately below a motte (KK015-011----) and there is a holy well (KK015-009----) c. 26m to the SW. Within the graveyard there was an earlier church (KK015-010001-) which is not visible at ground level. Carrigan (1905, vol. 3, 278-9), mentions a number of memorials in the graveyard which date from 1715 onwards. A stone cross (KK015-010003-) with a carved crucifixion, possibly dating to the late medieval period/early 17th-century, was found in the graveyard.
