The National Monuments Service's description

Carrigan (1905, 466) records an ancient church site called 'Rillig' and the discovery of human bones (KK014-082002-/KK015-034002*) in the 'Rillig Field'. The monument was visible as a slight, overgrown mound in 1905. It was not visible at ground level when visited in 1987 and the precise location of this monument within the townland could not be determined.
