The National Monuments Service's description
This was classified in the SMR (1987) as an 'Enclosure' having been identified as a possible monument on an aerial photograph (CUCAP BGG064, 16 July 1971). On field inspection in 1987 this was found to be a small disused and overgrown quarry.
