The National Monuments Service's description
On a gentle SW-facing slope running down to a small river valley, in rough fairly level grassland. There are fair views in all directions. An oval enclosure (dims. c. 77m NW-SE; c. 36m NE-SW) with only an N arc and S arc surviving above ground level. The N arc (L c. 36m) is defined by a bank (H 1m; overall Wth 3m) and, c. 27m to the S, the S arc is defined by the inner bank which has been reduced to a scarp (H c. 1m), a berm or filled-in fosse (Wth 5m) and an outer bank (int. H 0.4m; ext. H c. 1.2-1.4m; Wth 1m). An old field boundary runs roughly E-W along the N part of the surviving S section.
