The National Monuments Service's description

Incorporated in a now collapsed gateway, into a field with a castle (KK013-017001-) and 17th-century house (KK013-017002-). The carved limestone block is decorated on one face with fluting, perhaps part of a pleated gown from an effigial tomb. A similarly carved stone, presumably from the same context, has been reused as one of the coping stones of the roof on the N side of the W gable of the church (KK013-018001-) on the opposite side of the road.
