The National Monuments Service's description

On the N-facing slope of a small flat-topped bluff with very steep sides to the N, in a small thorny wood surrounded by tillage and grassland. A circular platform (dims. c. 30m) cut into hill-slope (H c. 1m) on the N side and defined by scarp to N (ext. H 0.5m), with a berm (Wth 4m) at the base, before dropping steeply with the natural slope. Monument poorly preserved and heavily overgrown with trees and scrub.
