The National Monuments Service's description
This was not included in the SMR (1987) or in the RMP (1996). It was noted on the 1900 revision OS 6-inch sheet and was visited during ASI field survey carried out in 1987, by which time the feature was gone with no visible trace at ground level. Based on its depicted on the 1900 map and 25-inch OS map, this appears to have been a small roughly rectangular tree plantation (dims. c. 17m N-S; c. 30m E-W). The evidence does not warrant its inclusion as an archaeological monument.
