The National Monuments Service's description

Adjacent to a spring well on a terrace above the Dinin river valley to S and a small stream valley to the E, in rolling grassland. Identified by Prendergast (1977, 267), the more easterly of two fulachta fia (KK011-004----; KK011-004002-) which are c. 30m apart. A crescent-shaped mound, composed of black earth and small fire-cracked stones, with a sunken central area.
