The terrier accompanying the Down Survey (1655-6) parish map of Conohy, records, ‘a Castle [KK010-092001-] in repaire and some Cabbins at Conohye’. The proprietor is listed as the Earl of Ormond. The location of these houses within the townland is unknown.
