On the E side of a steep hill rising out of valley with good views from N-S, land rising to W. A circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m) showing as cropmark of a wide, deep fosse on aerial photographs (CUCAP BGG 61, 1971; GB91.DG.01). Not visible at ground level.
