The National Monuments Service's description
On gently sloping wet boggy ground just above a stream course. During fieldwork in 1987 three large mounds of burnt stone and charcoal were identified adjacent to the stream. A circular low mound (max. diam. 7m), with another circular (max. diam. 10m) mound of burnt stone lying 10m to the SW and another, in the NE corner of field, which is also circular (max. diam. 12m) with at least three trough depressions evident. Since the fieldwork was carried out this field has been reclaimed and field boundaries removed (viewed on Digitalglobe satellite image, 19 February 2018).
