The National Monuments Service's description
Associated with an enclosure (KK009-058002-) which may be part of a grange belonging to Jerpoint Abbey (KK028-062005-). Carrigan (1905, vol. 2, 258) describes how, 'Pieces of cut-stone were unearthed at the time, among them being an inscribed flag, 8 in. [0.21m] square, whose whereabouts cannot now be traced'. The current location of this slab is unknown.
