The National Monuments Service's description

On a slightly raised promontory on the flood plain of the River Nore which flows c. 80m to the W. A medieval church (KK009-028001-) is located in the SW portion of the pentagonal graveyard (max. dims. c. 32m N-S; c. 50m E-W) enclosed by a modern wall. According to Carrigan (1905, vol. 2, 321-2), 'In the graveyard there are about half a dozen inscribed monuments, but none of them ancient'. The headstones in the graveyard date largely to the 19th century.
