The National Monuments Service's description

In the field surrounding Aharney church (KK009-013001-) and graveyard (KK009-013002-). The foundations of a small building (dims. 6.2m N-S; 4.8m E-W), possibly a house site, are located 14.5m NW of the NW angle of the graveyard. It is a stone walled building, the walls have collapsed and are reduced to grass-covered mounds (int. H 0.1-0.3m; ext. H 0.27-0.5m; Wth at crest 0.9m; overall Wth 1.4m). The collapsed walls form a wide spread into the interior. There is a possible entrance (Wth 1.6m) on the E side.
