The National Monuments Service's description
In the field surrounding Aharney church (KK009-013001-) and graveyard (KK009-013002-). The hollow-way (L c. 125m) runs roughly N-S from the modern field boundary S of the graveyard towards the SW angle of the graveyard. The hollow-way meanders slightly and seems to terminate c. 40m S of the graveyard, at the SW angle of a rectangular plot. It consists of a gentle hollow (Wth 4.1m) defined by a bank (int. H 0.35m; ext. H 0.45m; Wth at crest 1.4m; overall Wth 6.3m) on the E side and by scarp (int. H 0.75m; Wth 2.3m) on the W side.
